Sound baths are generally safe and deeply relaxing for most people.
However, there are some situations where extra care or medical advice is recommended before attending.
Contraindications
Sound-sensitive epilepsy: Rapid changes in sound or vibration may trigger seizures.

Pacemakers or implanted medical devices: Certain instruments with strong vibration or magnetic components (like gongs or tuning forks) can interfere with these devices.

Early pregnancy (first trimester): Although sound therapy is gentle, it’s best to consult your healthcare provider before attending.

Severe mental health conditions (e.g. psychosis, schizophrenia) – deep relaxation or altered sensory states may be unsettling.

Hearing sensitivity, tinnitus, or vertigo – loud or low-frequency  sounds may cause discomfort.

Severe migraines or chronic pain – check with your practitioner about volume and sound intensity.

Please Let Me Know If:

You are pregnant, have a medical device, or any condition that may be affected by sound or vibration.

You are sensitive to loud sounds or deep bass tones.

You would prefer a quieter or seated experience instead of lying down.

If anything concerns you please do speak to me and we can work together to make it a positive experience for you.
