Health Considerations
While sound baths are generally gentle, some instruments can produce powerful sounds and vibrations.
Please contact me before booking if any of the following apply to you:
- Pregnancy, particularly during the early stages.
- Pacemakers or implanted medical devices, where advice from your healthcare professional may be appropriate.
- Sound-sensitive epilepsy or seizure conditions, particularly if certain sounds may trigger symptoms.
- Tinnitus, Ménière's disease, vertigo or sound sensitivity, as some sounds may be uncomfortable.
- Recent surgery, injuries or medical procedures, particularly if lying down or exposure to strong sounds may cause discomfort.
- Metal implants, if you have been advised to take precautions around vibration.
- Severe or acute mental health difficulties, where an immersive sensory experience may not be appropriate at that time.
Having one of these conditions does not automatically mean you cannot attend. However, it is important to consider your individual circumstances and seek medical advice where appropriate.
Sound baths are complementary wellbeing experiences and are not a replacement for medical treatment or professional healthcare.
Your Comfort During a Session
There is no expectation that you must lie down, close your eyes, remain completely still or reach a particular state of relaxation.
You're welcome to sit on a chair, adjust your position, open your eyes or simply listen.
If you find a particular sound uncomfortable, please let me know. You are also welcome to step outside if you need a break.
Everyone experiences sound differently, and your comfort always comes first.
What to Bring
To help you feel comfortable during your session, I recommend bringing:
- A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on.
- A blanket to keep warm.
- A pillow or cushion.
- An eye mask, if you prefer.
- Water for afterwards.
Chairs can be made available if you would rather sit. Please let me know when booking.
Arriving at Your Sound Bath
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to find your space and settle in.
Parking is available alongside the hall, although double parking may sometimes be necessary.
The doors close promptly at the advertised start time to avoid interrupting the experience for those already settled.

A Final Thought
My sound baths are intended to be relaxed, welcoming experiences where you can take some time for yourself without pressure or expectation.
There is no right or wrong way to experience a sound bath.
Each sound bath journey is unique; however you experience it is allowed and individual to you.
